Welcome to my new website.  I’m still in the process of rounding up all of my projects from my old site as well as new ones from the last 6 or so months.  I only have eight featured right now but I am looking forward to spending some time to customize each projects page to give it its own unique style.  I’ve been lucky enough to work with some great clients through various design positions that I’ve held as well as freelancing.

I’m currently enrolled in the Masters of User Experience Design at Kent State University, so this blog will be a great hub for me to share my experiences and insights as I continue to grow as a designer.  Next week I will be discussing my first encounters with Mobile Usability Testing and the importance of having a mobile ready website.  This is especially true with the much talked about “Mobilegeddon” looming just around the corner.  In case you don’t know what I’m talking about this new Google algorithm will punish SEO rankings of any web sites that don’t have a mobile friendly website.  Google recently announced, “Starting April 21, we will be expanding our use of mobile-friendliness as a ranking signal. This change will affect mobile searches in all languages worldwide and will have a significant impact in our search results.”

Thanks for tuning in, more to follow after the break.
