I will be discussing with you the Usability Measurements of Conversion Rates and the pros they have in usability studies. Conversion Rates and Success do not only mean sales but they can, also mean any key performance indicator that we value on a website. Examples include:
- Becoming a registered user
- Searching & finding restaurants
- People who download an app from a companies website and keep using it
- Connecting with us through Facebook, Twitter and You Tube
By measuring task conversion rates within a businesses site, we can see how users interact with the site and the success they have with fulfilling requirements. This provides value to the usability study, because good conversion rates means happy users and that the interface is doing its job.
Below is a user workflow for the ordering process on chipotle.com. Here you can see many conversions happening through out the ordering process, including user registration and sale.
